LAHAINA ROYAL HOʻIKE
October 16, 2010 we celebrated the legacy of Princess Kaʻiulani and honored Nā Aliʻi at the Waineʻe Royal Tomb. The Lahaina and Maui community came out in a great way to create a magical moment in time in honoring the Royal legacy of Hawaii and the warm cultural relations between the Scottish and Hawaiian people. |

HONOPOU - WATER RIGHTS & COMMUNITY SERVICE
In early 2011, we began our relationship with Aunty Lyn Scott and the ohana in Honopou to aid in caring for their Taro farm (loʻi) while learning an ancient and still relevant way of life. SEATTLE LIVE ALOHA FESTIVAL
CANADA CULTURAL EXCHANGE The Guard traveled to Seattle, WA in 2012 for the Live Aloha Festival where our goal was to share the memory of the Queen Mother and Sacred High Chiefess Keopuolani and to present the Royal Hawaiian Guard. Additionally, we took the opportunity to build relations with the Canadian Honor Guard - 78th Fraser Highlanders where we conducted a protocol at the Peace Arch bordering the US & Canada. To wrap up our tour, we traveled to southern part of WA state and into Oregon to present the Guard at Prairie High School in appreciation for the many cadets who have attended our summer drill camps on Maui. |
